The curtains were there (though I have to admit that I wondered if I would get in trouble if one day after I left there, new curtains were hanging in the windows...
This is so kind, Charlene, thank you. I really love capturing a feeling, so I'm happy to know that I have. All of my photos for the last year have been taken with my iPhone. Sometimes I post edit with the VISCO app, but many of these were unedited, or with a tiny bit of manual contrast and/or brightness if I felt like they needed it. The light in the cabin and along the creek truly was the reason the photos captured so well. It was magical.
What a lovely getaway! This looks like a perfect place to renew the soul. Thank you for the pictures!
It was so special and much needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
Beautiful. Reminds me of our CCC cabins here in Southern Appalachia.
It was built in that time frame!
Peaceful and moody!
Yes, exactly!
So charming!
Quite adorable!
What a place! Did you bring the tablecloth? The curtains must have been there already. It must seem like luxury to you!

Yes, the tablecloth was mine, and fit perfectly.
Carmella. Your images always evoke nostalgia for me. They are dreamy and soft. Magic. Can you share if you use a filter.
