New York kitchen of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent

When the work, words, home, style, or talents of someone else makes your breath catch, stirs a longing, or causes you to lean in with curiosity, this is simply part of them reflecting part of you. Their life and work is not a prescription or formula, but an invitation for you to live fully yours. Take that awakening, that curiosity, and see what it becomes in your unique life.

INSPIRATION: Tucked in amongst the necessary bottles and bowls on a tray kept near at hand on the counter in this New York kitchen, there’s a tiny lamp for layered illumination. An unexpected piece in an unexpected place. (We usually associate lamps with desks, nightstands, or end tables, don’t we?) If my attention is caught, it’s caught by this: using something in an unexpected way.
