A wildfire update

Hello loves. A quick note to thank you for your prayers and thoughts over the last few days. We are okay. Our home is untouched by the out of control wildfire that grew from 1/2 acre to over 62,000 acres in one week. And it’s still growing, devouring our beautiful, beautiful mountain range. The above photo was taken a few days ago. The landscape looks so different now. I don’t really have the words to describe this experience, except perhaps that it’s been like living in a nightmare. Although we believe the greatest threat of danger to our home and our little town past with last night’s high winds, we officially remain at a “ready”evacuation level as the leading edge of the fire moves south.
