I'm just delighted that you enjoy what I share here. Thank you! Isn't it interesting how we find inspiration, then hop on and see where it takes us in our own homes and lives? Who knows where it will lead!

We've got a lovely smallish 5ft tree, decorated simply with lights and felt and ceramic stars and a few orange slices. Went yesterday and gathered ivy and holly and decorated the stairs, mantlepiece and front door wreath - ready for Christmas now. And when everything gets dried up and crunchy I am glad to put it in the garden waste bin and go back to a simple house!! Got about a week!!

Oh I can imagine it! Beautiful! Wonderful job, Lynne. And I have to say, I always appreciate how easy it is to undecorate after the holidays, when the decorations are simple to begin with.

So, so lovely! Thank you for always sharing the beauty of your days.

We have a Balsam Fir this year, I think the prettiest we've had (at least in a while). Nice and petite for our 1886 home! We have just put on lights and started to add some ornaments. Simple paper Scandinavian lighted stars in the 2 upstairs dormers. We've been renovating our house for almost 5 years now, so being able to do these simple holiday things this year feels like a dream!!

Carmella:

Each and every post, always feel so inspired, calming, serene, simple rustic beautifulness.

I Love how you described the Tree Adventure., oh and with Maggie Mae, Sweetheart it don’t get no better than this. ❤️🐾🎄

I decorated very lightly, Always with my huge pinecone wreath made years and years ago, simply refresh and add Floppy Bows/ or wreath scarf for the door.

Stockings, Fresh Balsam Fir wreath for the mud room door, little tree also in the mud room.

I keep saying switch the wrapping paper, the white butcher paper, is my go to, with Burlap, Velvet……. ribbons, did traditional Plaid for this Christmas.

I so look forward to seeing your Christmas decor, it is always Beautifulllll.

Happy Decorating this weekend.

Thank you and for the links too.

Love the pics
