Love how your sharing of a memory - the experiencing of lovely flowers in an old reclaimed vase - sends out ripples to all of us here, which then become our memories.
I traveled once with a little orchid I had bought to stage in a bathroom of a home we were selling. It was about to burst with blooms and I wanted to tend to it carefully because I couldn't believe my luck that it was happily growing and blooming a second year. It fit right into the cup holder back then. Today it is much bigger and blooms profusely every year!
I love that you take the beauty along with you, too. Thanks for sharing.

We must keep the beauty we have close by, I've decided.

Such a lovely story, Susan. I'm so glad you still have what was that little orchid!
Lovely thought.
Thank you, Donna
