In photo #6... will the bulbs bloom that way, on the tray with the stones? Or do you start them there and plant them later? I've been trying to do different ideas with bulbs since the Zoom we had last (?) year when you did bulbs in the long vessel! : )

Yes! They will bloom with their bottoms nestled in a tray of pebbles. I make sure the tray is full of water up to the bottom of the bulbs. I check them often - they drink lots of water!
